Roasting

Lazy Sunday is an easy roast that is easy to drink. It mellows, and turns into an opulent hug to your senses. The cocoa influences from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa brings citrus hints to bring the balance. The result is a delicious coffee that is delicious by itself or with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It's a perfect match for vanilla cakes with lemon drizzle and lemon sponges.

When making this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boil water to ensure it is warm and ready to brew. After brewing, let the coffee sit for 4 minutes. This will ensure that all the grounds are saturated and are not over-extracted. The water should be pushed through by the plunger. Do not stir or stir the coffee, as this could cause unpleasant ingredients to appear in your cup.

Strength - 3 is gentle and easygoing, perfect for relaxing weekends.

Stores

Lazy Sunday is a smoky light roast that has an uplifting scent of cocoa and citrus. It has a silky mouthfeel that softens the palate. The cocoa-like hints can be traced to the winter days in the living room, reading a book and a warm family hug. Prepare your French Press by using water that isn't yet at boiling point. This will prevent the coffee from becoming over extracted and resulting in undesirable elements in the drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that has just boiled. For 4 minutes, simmer, plunge and enjoy.
